Social Activities Retirement Group
We provide a wide range of Social Activities here at Westgate Foundation. We are always open to new members. Membership fee is €35.00 a year, €20.00 for 6 months. Please contact our SARG’s Manager Phil Lynch on 021-4873648 or email – phillynch@westgatefoundation.ie
Our weekly timetable is as follows:-

Westgate Art group – Wednesdays – 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm

Westgate Drama group – Wednesdays – 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm

Westgate Cards group – Friday afternoons – 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm

Westgate Seniors Gym sessions at the Maria Elite Gym – Mondays and Wednesdays – 2.45 pm – 5.45 pm
Westgate transport services support some of the Westgate Social and active retirement group activities.
Our yearly social event calendar is thoughtfully planned to bring joy, connection, and a sense of belonging to older members of our community. Throughout the year, our Social Activities Group hosts a wide variety of events that cater to different interests and abilities—always with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each event is designed not just for fun, but to encourage friendships, reduce isolation, and celebrate the rich experiences of our older community members. With something happening nearly every month, there’s always an opportunity to come together, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
Transport is provided for social events but limited places are available.
