Westgate Foundation is a community based voluntary organisation providing a wide range of services and supports to older people living in Ballincollig and surrounding areas. The services provided by our organisation include DayCare, Social and Active Retirement Group (SARG), Sheltered Housing, Transport, Community Catering and Seniors Alert Personal Alarms.

Westgate Foundation is currently seeking applications for the position of
Activities Coordinator
at Westgate Foundation Centre in Ballincollig. The key focus of the post is the design and
coordination of an engaging programme of social activities to clients of Westgate Daycare
Service and to provide support to Westgate Foundation Social and Active Retirement Group
manager in delivering engaging programmes of activity to Social and Active Retirement
Group (SARG) members. This is an initial one year fixed term contract (subject to funding) of 24 hours per week. A
minimum of 2 years’ experience of designing and delivering activity programmes in a care
and/or social centre setting is essential.
